Brand Spanking New

I am looking for a new WordPress theme and since I know, that I have so many readers, I would like to ask you, if you could recommend a splendid new suit for my blog.

I have some conditions about the new design:

  1. It should be as simple as the current one. I like simple UIs and it will make my day happy, when I know that I serve nothing but pure simpleness.
  2. It should have room for a picture on the top. Just to go on bothering you with my face or just add a bit color, like pictures that I took or something like that. Maybe change it with the seasons.
  3. I’d like to have it white again. White background. Part of the simpleness concept. Or gray or convince me about something else.
  4. It should either be high editable or support the most popular social network apps in a sidebar or as a widget. Everything that I have now, should fit the new design too.
  5. No horses.

Lets make it a competition. The person that brings me the best theme of the whole wide WordPress world, gets something. Whatdoiknow, I will find something nice. No horses!

You find a big load of WordPress themes via Google. You find some very good collections on SmashingMagazine.com. WordPress itself has also a good bunch of themes.

If you have something nice, don’t hesitate and post it here. Spread the word. I would love to see many recommendations and I will happily choose one.

Oh and just to make it fix, lets say we have time until 1 March 2009.
