Wow, now its going to be complicated to find something from Christophe Bourdoiseau in the internet. We care about that later. First the story about how I found this album.
So one day I was walking around in the big Dussmann Bookstore here in Berlin. Trying to find some of the better DVDs. As I passed the Music Department where they were currently playing Christophe Bourdoiseaus CD I immediately had to stop and listen. I bought the album.
I don’t understand a word french, but that does no matter, because you know what he is singing about. Melancholic songs about love, friendships, encounters and memories at all in Berlin. The perfect spice is added by a russian trio that plays along with him. Some songs are composed poems by Rimbaud and Baudelaire.
I could not find anything on Youtube. He is not very popular. Playing only in small clubs here in Berlin. But he has a Myspace site, where you can listen to some of his songs.

Do me a favor and give it a try, you wont regret it if you like that kind of music.
If you buy the album for 15 Euro, you get the german translation of his texts too.
